Alex Sandiego's Tattoo and Body Piercing

I have met a tattoo artist and this guy has his own way to serve his customers. His name is Alex San Diego, a tattooist from Pandacan, Manila and has his own shop at Santa Cruz, Manila. Alex accepts any customers anywhere in Manila. The tattoo session is done at the house of the customers except for the piercing.

A story of faith on his back: The story of the guy with a Saint Michael back piece tattoo is that he believes that Saint Michael is his protector from any danger. He believes that a portrait of the Saint and Lucifer is more than a good versus evil situation. The customer believes more than that and he believes that having it may protect him in any harm. Why put it in his back? Well, I ask him that also and he answered that he dont have eyes at his back and by having a St. Michael at his back well... he knows that the saint will be his eyes on it. Alex use a black and gray style on it and they tell me that it will have an additional soon to his lower back. Well, we have to wait for it.

The lady's caricature: The lady have her arm piece. Alex tattooed a cartoon caricature of her customer. A self portrait in cartoon style. I like the design of it especially the red twinkling stars. She asked Alex to blacken her caricature and put or leave a heart to her cheeks. Why, well that's her impression of being a mysterious woman and a lover.

Tongue Piercing: The guy with a red & white cup is having his tongue pierced at Alex tattoo shop. The guy really wanted it to add some play to his kissing style. It's his life.

Whole Family Tattooed By Joe Saliendra

So, here's a question. If you wanna have a tattoo and have it done by a "real expert" who do you wanna call? Call Joe!!!
Joe Saliendra is the man for it 'coz he is considered as the Philippines Most Awarded Tattoo Artist.

Joe is all about tattoo and his art or passion for it. He do wonders and surprises when Joe put and finished a tattoo. Whether it is a portrait or out of this world design, Joe can do it and I assure you that he is no joke.

Anyway, here's the story behind the tattoo of our four people.

• The first guy with the bonet is me having an ethnic pinoy tattoo of his design with a bul-ol, it's an arm band to his right.
• The Koi tattoo is from my sister. She believes that it will bring her good luck. The tattoo is on her right leg.
• The third guy is my younger brother, his tattoo is on the left deltoid. A flower of an ethnic or samoan symbol. A symbol of life he said.
  
• The last part is a tiger on his left arm. A fortune bringer for him and that's my father.

By the way, we are all first timers in tattoo and this four people is really one whole family. My father has a tiger, I'm the one being inked by Joe Saliendra, koi tattoo for my sister and the floral ethnic tattoo belongs to my younger brother. What a family, having a tattoo with Joe is an extraordinary experience for us.
