My brother finished (I think) his sleeve tattoo, and believe it or not, it was done by three artists. Firt it was done by Joe Saliendra (please see my previous post regarding the whole family gettin' a tattoo), it was a flower like samoan tattoo on his deltoid. Then a pinoy style tattoo on his chest and it was inked by Alex San Diego. Lastly, it was Boh
Pascasio (vocalist of Grin Department, OPM) who made the finishing touches, and that is the sleeves samoan style incorporated with an old pinoy head hunter tattoo.
So, here's a question. If you wanna have a tattoo and have it done by a "real expert" who do you wanna call? Call Joe!!! Joe Saliendra is the man for it 'coz he is considered as the Philippines Most Awarded Tattoo Artist.
Joe is all about tattoo and his art or passion for it. He do wonders and surprises when Joe put and finished a tattoo. Whether it is a portrait or out of this world design, Joe can do it and I assure you that he is no joke.
Anyway, here's the story behind the tattoo of our four people.
The first guy with the bonet is me having an ethnic pinoy tattoo of his design with a bul-ol, it's an arm band to his right.
The Koi tattoo is from my sister. She believes that it will bring her good luck. The tattoo is on her right leg.
The third guy is my younger brother, his tattoo is on the left deltoid. A flower of an ethnic or samoan symbol. A symbol of life he said.
The last part is a tiger on his left arm. A fortune bringer for him and that's my father.
By the way, we are all first timers in tattoo and this four people is really one whole family. My father has a tiger, I'm the one being inked by Joe Saliendra, koi tattoo for my sister and the floral ethnic tattoo belongs to my younger brother. What a family, having a tattoo with Joe is an extraordinary experience for us.
